How to Refill a Stamp Pad
- Ensure the stamp pad is clean.
- Shake bottle gently before use.
- Apply several drops evenly across the stamp pad.
- Allow the ink to soak into the felt.
- Test with a stamp.
- Add more ink if required.
- Check results using a UV black light.
Avoid overfilling the stamp pad as excess ink may cause smudging.
Best Results
- Use white or light-coloured paper.
- For strongest fluorescence, use a 365nm UV Black Light.
- A 395nm UV Black Light will also activate the ink, although fluorescence may appear less intense depending on the colour.

What type of UV light works best?
For the brightest fluorescence, we recommend using a 365nm UV black light. The ink also works with 395nm UV black lights, although some colours may appear less bright compared to 365nm.
Is the stamp ink visible under normal light?
The Transparent UV Ink is virtually invisible under normal lighting. The Yellow, Purple and Orange variants may show a very faint tint on white surfaces but become brightly fluorescent only when illuminated with a UV black light.
Can this ink be used to refill any stamp pad?
Yes. This ink is suitable for refilling most felt stamp pads used with rubber stamps. Simply apply a few drops evenly across the pad and allow the ink to absorb before use. Avoid overfilling to prevent smudging.
