Frequently Asked Questions
Do I Need Special Lights for UV Paint?
Yes. UV reactive paint only works under UV blacklights. Standard lighting may not produce the same bright fluorescent effect.
Is UV White to Color Paint Invisible Under Normal Light?
Yes. UV White to Color paint appears white or nearly invisible under normal lighting when applied on white or light-colored surfaces. Under UV blacklight exposure, the paint transforms into different bright fluorescent colors. On darker or colored surfaces, the white base may remain partially visible under normal light.
What Can UV White to Color Paint and Fluorescent Powders be Used For?
UV White to Color
Commonly used to create special effect paintings, markings etc. This is only possible because it is barely visible when painted on white surfaces.
Fluorescent
Generally used for event effects, decorative coatings, and special UV-reactive designs that only become visible under blacklight.
Take note that these items only work under UV Black Light.
What is invisible UV ink used for?
Invisible UV ink is commonly used for anti-counterfeiting, industrial marking, security verification, hidden branding, and event authentication. They are transparent under normal light and become visible under UV light.
What is the difference between 365nm and 395nm UV light?
365nm UV lights produce stronger fluorescence with less visible purple light, while 395nm UV lights are more affordable and emit a brighter blue light.
