For larger masonry or concrete leak investigations, use two or more bottles for stronger visibility.
Recommended dilution:
1 part dye : 500 parts water
Always add water first before pouring in the dye.

Usage Instructions
Step 1
Fill a bucket or container with clean water.
Step 2
Add one bottle of Deep Trace™ UV Leak Detection Dye.
Step 3
Mix thoroughly.
Step 4
Pour or introduce the solution into the suspected leak area.
Step 5
Allow sufficient time for the water to travel naturally.
Step 6
Inspect the surrounding area using a UV black light.
The fluorescent dye will clearly highlight the leak path, seepage point or water flow.
For large areas or difficult masonry investigations, increase the dye concentration by using additional bottles.
Important Notes
- Use together with a UV Black Light for best visibility.
- Concentrated dye may temporarily stain skin or clothing.
- Diluted solution normally does not stain ceramic tiles.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Store in a cool, dry place.
Can I use different colours at the same time?
Yes. Using Neon Green and Neon Red allows you to trace different leak paths or test multiple areas simultaneously, making it easier to identify the source of water infiltration.
Do I need a UV black light to see the dye?
Yes. Deep Trace™ UV Leak Detection Dye is designed to fluoresce under a UV black light (365–395nm). Without a UV light, the dye is much less visible, especially when highly diluted.
How much area does one bottle cover?
One 25ml bottle is generally sufficient for testing approximately one standard bathroom or toilet floor area. For larger leak investigations involving concrete, masonry, or extensive plumbing systems, use two or more bottles to increase visibility and improve tracing results.
Will the dye stain my tiles or plumbing?
When used at the recommended dilution ratio (1:500), the dye is designed not to permanently stain ceramic tiles or plumbing systems. However, the concentrated dye may temporarily stain skin, clothing, or porous materials if spilled. Always clean up spills promptly.
